• Feeding Instructions: Feed one teaspoon per bird per day. Mineral grit can be fed in a separate treat dish or mixed with your pet's daily food. Discard any unused portion before feeding again—feed supplement not to exceed 7% of your pet bird's total daily food consumption.

  Mineral grit for all small & medium birds, including Canaries, Finches, and Parakeets, is an excellent source of calcium and minerals. Mineral grit is made with crushed oyster shells and not gravel. The oyster shell is enriched with essential minerals that give its unique colour and natural anise oil for a unique, liquorice aroma. Birds with digestive problems may benefit from adding small amounts of soluble grit to their diet. If you suspect your bird has a digestive problem, consult your Avian vet regarding your bird's need for mineral grit.
